I watched Microsoft and Sony’s conference but not Nintendo since i read about it and it really wasn’t exciting. TOO casual + many games that are already released, reminds me of the release of the Wii. I’ll go into detail now about my opinion (Note: I don’t care for Third party developers, E3 was always about the big 3 not 3rd party developers)

Im really busy these days.Lets start with the first, Microsoft. They started really good with Halo 4 and it reminded me of Metroid Prime, atleast thats the vibe i got with it in the end, it looks really good and polished. From there on it got downhill, i can’t believe all of their exclusive retail and arcade all recieved little teasers with no gameplay. Instead we got 3rd party games that are available everywhere else.First i’ll start off with Splinter Cell: Blacklist. It looked great from the gameplay and graphics. However, i still wish it was stealthy as before. Even conviction had abit of stealth element to it while this looks all out action with the sun shinning. Hopefully, this is just a setpiece or small portion of the game because i don’t want this game to be gadget action oriented uncharted. I want it to be Splinter Cell. It looks great but i hope it isn’t always action. Tomb RaiderLooks fantastic. I love the dark and serious tone the game has. I know it gets compared to uncharted too but i think it has enough elements to distinguish it from uncharted especially since the portion we had while it was action we had many new stuff like using the environments, far draw distance, wide open setting. We didn’t get to see the survival part of it but i read that it is in the game so can’t wait for that. Overall, it didn’t dissapoint.Resident Evil 6Disappointed with what they shown (ACTION) but, what can you do, they pretty much confirmed with their statements that it will be 90% action and 10% horror. I can see Leon being my favorite playthrough but overall for me, i love the history and characters of this game. The game and gameplay looks very good but there was no Resident Evil vibe from it except for the characters. With that said i am still looking forward to it, i don’t think anything can disappoint as much as RE5 and even with that i had alot of fun playing it alone and especially Co – op.South ParkThey didn’t show gameplay but the trailer looked promising, i mean the game itself looks JUST like the show which is fantastic. Plus, they cracked a joke about all the xbox smartass they did (which i hated and took like 70% of the conference nothing of use for the gamers)”How many times have you been watching an episode of south park and thought id like to be able to watch this on my television, while hooked onto my mobile device, which is being controlled by my tablet device which is hooked onto my oven all while sitting in the refrigerator”I mean, that joke alone spoke highly of Microsoft’s conference, this was basically it. We had Arcade exclusives, don’t know if they are retail but they were all 2013 and just small teasers. Loco cycle, Matter and Ascend (it was the only one that had gameplay which looked poor for a retail title which leads me to believe its just arcade)Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 looked like every COD out there so, not surprising and not exciting either. Just the feeling of been there, done that.Don’t even get me started with Usher, region locked content and Xbox smartass. Nothing for the gamers, they had bad conferences 3 years in a row, lol, how can anyone do that. Overall, very bad conference. Konami’s was better then them, atleast Konami were bad but showed games. This was just bad and veeeery boring. Also, where’s Alan Wake 2?————————————–SonySony in my opinion did the best this E3, they did what any gamer want, show us the games but fell very short for the VITA. However, they interviewed Jack Tretton about it. I’ll post later what he said. I’ll talk about what was shown.Beyond: Two SoulsLooked amazing, getting visuals from a 6 year old console is impressive. I loved Heavy Rain and Fahrenheit t alot! however the second half of Fahrenheit was not that good but still it was a game i very much loved so. I can’t wait for it and it seems it will be interesting + unique. Excited for it.Playstation All-Star Battle RoyalIt honestly doesn’t look like a retail game so i am expecting they add many, many stuff. However, i am really excited for the characters mostly as i am sure many others are. Gameplay looks like SSB so it should be fun and exciting. Online will be great since it will use Sony’s service so overall its an exclusive, its a game and they showed gameplay which is great.Playstation plus looks very tempting, for 50$ a year we get more than 12 retail games for free to play anytime as long as we pay the price of one game every year? it’s a really good deal while i wont use it, it’s still very good. At-least better than paying 60$ a year for features being region locked, being able to play online and party/private chat.Assassins Creed 3Amazing, simpley amazing. I love they are going all out in this part and i always felt the major AC parts always had the most in being new and deep. AC 1, 2, 3 all look very different from each other. For a guy like me who skipped the filler, i am really excited for this one and the footage shown was spectacular. Which i have to say Ubisoft really are owning as a 3RD party developers, they are the best at the moment out there right now.Far Cry 3It looked very average, aside from the really good colors and jungle setting. It looked ok. I am honestly more excited for the SP side to be honest, which seems really good. 4 player co op though, sounds like good fun.Wonder abook. Not my thing and it really dragged on and on, it was a fail in my opinion however atleast it’s something rather than just the Kinect being just a big microphone in the room, they didn’t show any new experience for it. For me i don’t own neither move nor Kinect but i acknowledge when they show stuff and appreciate.PS mobile has potential but we didn’t see anything from it. Here’s to seeing great indie games on it.God Of War: AscensionLooked like God of war. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. I liked the time mechanic, i can see some puzzle potential coming out from this thing. There is also some new mechanics like picking up side weapons? animations looked much better here, combat seems to have more OMPH to them, you really feel the blades hit the ground and the enemies. I also loved the mechanic where Kratos gets angry and causes an explosion on the ground? lol I also love the punching and kicking you could do aside from swinging swords. It also still looks to be as violent as ever. Story seems interesting since is an origin story, so i am very excited. Aside from the MP which also looks good, i am more excited for the SP.The last of usThis game looks phenomenal and on consoles which is why it’s crazy. Not only it looks good, but it looks more horror than RE6 :S LOOOL which is a shame for capcom, really. I am so very excited for this especially after reading the outcome can be totally different since the gameplay demo in the conference looked scripted but all of the gaming sites confirmed that it is not and the A.I is very dynamic. The interaction between the old man and young girl also is very human and really had me excited. Really amazing, i knew something like that could come out from the UC2 team. I mean even when you kill the enemy, it had that impact it feels as if you killed a life and not just some sponge with legs and head. Definitely the game that made E3 for me.It’s pathetic with how their Vita showing went and i find Jack Tretton’s reason not logical. He said the reason they didn’t focus alot is because they had to make their conference short since they had complaints about how long their conference was. What strikes me is that it’s their loss if they didn’t show so, i don’t know if that is true or not, however he did list the games that are available on the show room floor which is a pretty impressive list for a 4 month old hardware.Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation

Zone of the Enders HD CollectionNot to add the games that are released already. Having said that we’ll see what happens. E3 definatly showed that we are at the end of the generation and for sony to show what they did at the consoles end cycle is impressive so for me, Sony won E3. with Nintendo coming second because atleast they showed games and Microsoft failing miserably for the last 3 years in E3 yet still they keep selling for some un-explainable reason.Nintendo had the most chance to win this E3 EASILY. Because of the release of an entirly new console. I was imagining to hear super mario 3D with Wiiu’s graphics or zelda or star fox or some megatons but sadly, they went the easy way out from reading the games that they showed in the conference.I didn’t see Ubisofts E3 also and i saw EA which was great. Showed just games which is what me as a gamer, i want. However, they are a 3RD party developer and for me E3 is and always was about the big 3 so, i just focus about them. I read about watch dogs, saw screenshots which looked amazing but didn’t see ubi’s E3 since i am waiting to be more free. I don’t know why everyone though is excited about how it looks graphics wise and all since it has been confirmed that the demo was 100% PC version so, the console version may look worse or have some features stripped at-least. If they managed to make it the same as the PC version then ok, i agree, its speechlessly amazing from the screenshots i saw. I also read this…

It sounds exciting but i’d rather have an SP experience so, we’ll see. In the end, i don’t see why people are so excited about it unless the console versions also look as good. Maybe it’s because i still didn’t see the gameplay that is why i am not that impressed however, i’ll write about it when i do see it, when i have the time. But either way i am excited to see UBI’s E3 when i get the time and this E3 was decent to good from the games that were shown and the gameplay’s on the showroom floor. 3DS looks to be packed with games but it has been a while since its out so, yeah. For now, it seems to me the better choice is the 3DS if i wanted a handheld and Vita at the end of the year. Having said that, i am not a handheld type of gamer so, it is not important to me but i wouldn’t mind owning both handheld’s.

About ZOE 3, Last Guardian, FF versus.etc i will be waiting for TGS. Something tells me more vita games will be announced there, Kojima will announce his secret game also. Hopefully we’ll hear something about ZO3 and Last guardian (Dont care about FF) So, i am really excited for that which makes it more of a reason why for me Sony won E3 because Sony has some big announcements at TGS and other conferences more so than Microsoft and Nintendo adding to their show in E3.
