Square Enix will be releasing the Nintendo 3DS game pretty soon in Japan. The Kingdom Hearts franchise also has western fans. Square Enix’s official French store listed the game for a July release but pulled it back. So what gives? Hit the jump to read more.

Square may be pulling back the Western release date just to give itself some wiggle room in case problems arise with shipping the game. Europe typically sees Friday releases, which July 27 is; that could mean Kingdom Hearts 3D hits North America on July 24.
In any case it doesn’t seem to be a long wait. At least fans of the series have a release window now!
